Folden Project

The Folden is the result of some creative thinking and the age old debate of Ford vs Holden by Jono Pryor and Robert Taylor, hosts of The Rock's drive show. This started a project to build a half Ford, half Holden car picking the best of the two and combining the two into one.

Listeners voted online to decide the exact mix resulting in a 1972 HQ Holden rear and the stunning front of a 1969 Mustang complete with 302 Windsor V8.

One of the key criteria was that it was done properly and professional. Robert and Jono wanted to create something to be proud of, hence only the best was used and the main reason OCP was chosen when the rear bumper needed repairs and re-chroming.

OCP are proud to have been associated with a great, albeit controversial, project.

OCP general manager, Nigel Cotton, took a trip out to see the finished product at Jenners Freight before the car was shipped to it's new owner in Christchurch, and was surprised how good it looked.
